Granny'S Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. self-rising flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cocoa
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 baked pie crust
Preparation
    Heat
    milk
    in\tdouble boiler.\tAdd sugar, flour, cocoa and salt
    (well
    blended),
    stirring
    until thick and smooth, about 20\tminutes.
    Beat egg yolks and pour a small amount of hot mixture
    into
    the\teggs
    and
    stir.
    Then pour back into mixture in\tdouble\tboiler\tfor 5 more minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add vanilla and pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with meringue and brown.
