Ham, Cabbage And Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. dried noodles
    1 large onion, halved and thinly sliced
    2 garlic cloves, pressed
    2 small carrots, sliced
    1 tsp. olive oil
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 lb. cabbage, cored and cut into 1-inch cubes
    fresh pepper to taste
    2 c. cubed lower salt lean ham
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions.
    Drain. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet; add onion, garlic and carrots.
    Saute until onion is lightly browned.
    Mix in sugar, vinegar, cabbage and pepper.
    Cover and steam for 8 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
    Stir in ham.
    Mix in cooked noodles. Thoroughly heat.
    Makes 4 (2-cup) servings.
