Flo'S Bread & Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. sliced cucumbers
    1 pt. sliced onions
    4 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. curry powder
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Put sliced cucumbers and onions in large jar, bowl or crock. Cover with weak salt water solution.
    Let stand overnight.
    Drain and rinse.
    Heat vinegar, sugar and spices to boiling point.
    Add cucumbers and onions.
    Simmer until good and hot - about 1/2 hour. May be kept in jar in refrigerator or canned.
