Apple Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    2 c. chopped apples
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, shortening, salt and milk to biscuit consistency.
    Roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Spread with finely chopped apples, sugar and cinnamon.
    Roll up as jelly roll. Cut into one-inch sections and place in pan lined with 1 cup sugar and 1/3 cup butter, melted.
    Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
