Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. syrup
    scant c. bacon drippings or 2 sticks oleo and 1 Tbsp.*
    pinch of salt
    rounding Tbsp. baking soda
    rounding cook spoon ginger
    5 c. flour (for stiff dough)
Preparation
    Heat syrup (do not boil). Pour over bacon drippings (*or oleo). Add baking soda, salt, ginger and flour. Roll, cut and cook at 325\u00b0.
