Basic Cheese Sauce(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. pepper or white pepper
    1 c. skim milk
    3/4 c. shredded American or process Swiss cheese (3 oz.)
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, melt margarine.
    Stir in cornstarch and pepper; add milk.
    Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly, then cook and stir 2 minutes more.
    Add cheese, stirring to melt. Makes about 1 1/2 cups or 24 (1 tablespoon) servings.
