Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 medium or 10 small eggs
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 lb. butter (1/2 butter, 1/2 margarine)
2 2/3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour, sifted
8 Tbsp. coffee cream or Carnation
1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring
Preparation

Separate eggs.
Whip whites with 6 tablespoons sugar.
Place in refrigerator.
Cream softened butter and add sugar gradually. Add egg yolks two at a time.
Stir in flour and cream alternately. Add flavoring.
Fold in beaten egg whites (this is important). Bake in greased tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
