Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick margarine, softened
3 large eggs, beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. flour
1 tsp. corn meal
1 pie crust
Preparation

Mix sugar and softened margarine.
Add beaten eggs, then add buttermilk, vanilla, flour and meal.
Pour into unbaked pie shell. Begin baking at 400\u00b0, then turn to 325\u00b0 after about 10 or 15 minutes, when pie begins to brown.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until pie no longer \"jiggles.\"
