Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening (margarine)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2/3 c. hot water
    2/3 c. molasses (dark)
    pastry for 1 crust
Preparation
    Make crumbs by combining flour, sugar, shortening and salt and rubbing mixture between hands. Dissolve soda in hot water and combine with molasses.
    Pour into pastry lined pie plate. Top with crumbs and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35
    to 45 minutes or until filling is set.
