Butterscotch Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar (2 2/3 c.)
    4 egg yolks
    3 c. milk
    1 c. water
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Make two 8-inch pie crusts.
    Bake until done.
