Oatmeal Brunch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 1/4 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. oil
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, whole
    2 eggs, whites only (set aside yolks for topping)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oatmeal; mix well.
    Add oil.
    In a separate bowl, sift dry ingredients.
    Add to oatmeal.
    Add eggs and remaining ingredients; combining well.
    Bake in a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Remove from oven and while still hot, spread with topping.
