Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cane syrup
    1 c. lard
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Mix syrup and lard thoroughly.
    Sift soda, ginger and flour together and add to syrup and lard mixture slowly.
    Roll out and cut.
    Bake in oven, heated to 375\u00b0.
