Sherry'S Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. red meat or pork
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. any oil
    1 medium onion
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. honey, molasses or maple syrup
    2 Tbsp. any dry wine
    1/8 tsp. cloves (optional)
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    2 cloves garlic
    pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. any or all: basil, parsley, dill weed, Mrs. Dash
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
    Stir well. Pour over meat and cover.
    Marinate for 4 to 6 hours or several days (more flavor the longer it sits).
