Special Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. chocolate chips
1 c. margarine
1 c. Marshmallow Creme
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Preparation

Butter a 9 x 13-inch glass pan.
In a large bowl, combine chocolate chips, margarine and Marshmallow Creme; set aside.
In a large, heavy saucepan, combine the sugar and evaporated milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches soft ball stage (238\u00b0), 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour mixture in slow stream into chocolate chip mixture. Stir constantly until chocolate is completely melted and fudge loses its gloss.
Stir in vanilla and nuts.
Spread in prepared pan and cool for several hours.
Makes 5 pounds.
