Corned Beef In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
    3 medium onions, peeled and quartered
    1 c. thinly sliced carrots
    1 (3 to 4 lb.) corned beef brisket
    1 c. beer
Preparation
    In crock-pot, place potatoes, onions and carrots.
    Trim excess fat from brisket.
    Place meat atop vegetables.
    Pour beer over all.
    Finish filling crock-pot with water.
    Cover; cook on low heat for 9 to 11 hours.
    Slice brisket thinly across grain.
    Serve with vegetables.
