Ingredients

vegetable oil (for deep drying, about 3-inches deep)
1 can biscuits (I use buttermilk)
1 c. powdered sugar
cinnamon to taste
Preparation

In frying pan or pot, heat oil.
Put sugar and cinnamon in plastic storage bag or something similar in size.
Separate biscuits.
Take shot glass to cut out holes.
Carefully add raw doughnuts and holes (a couple at a time) to oil and cook, turning once until light golden brown.
Remove and let cool to room temperature or slightly above and place into bag of sugar mixture. Shake and serve.
