Fricasseed Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer
    salt
    flour
    2 c. hot milk or water
    mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Dress and cut chicken as for frying. Wash, then salt and roll in flour. Fry until light brown. Remove to roaster. Add 2 cups hot milk or water. Cover and let cook 2 to 3 hours. Cook until tender. Serve with mushrooms, if desired.
