Sausage And Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. smoked sausage, cut diagonally into 1/2-inch slices
    1 (16 to 20 oz.) pkg. frozen vegetables (for stew)
    3 c. cabbage, chopped coarsely
    3 c. hot water
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except meat and flour.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Combine flour with 1/4 cup water; stir about 1/2 to 1 cup cooking liquid into mixture and gradually stir into soup.
    Bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes. Add sausage and continue cooking 2 minutes.
