"Lib" Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage
    1 medium cucumber
    1 medium onion
    2 pods hot pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Grate cabbage (not fine).
    Chop onion and cucumber.
    Mix salt and pepper.
    Pack into jars.
    Add hot pepper.
    Heat vinegar and water; pour over cabbage.
    Refrigerate.
    (Don't pack too tightly.)
