Easy Cheesy Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. self-rising corn meal
1 c. self-rising flour
5 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. grated sharp cheese
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation

Combine meal, flour and sugar in bowl.
Add grated cheese and blend.
Add milk, egg and shortening and stir until thoroughly blended.
Fill hot, greased muffin pans about 2/3 full.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
Makes 10 to 12 muffins.
