Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. fresh strawberries (unsweetened)
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped (Dream Whip or Cool Whip)
Preparation

Thoroughly wash and dry strawberries.
Cut them in half. Place strawberries in cooked pie shell.
Mix water, sugar and cornstarch.
Cook 2 to 5 minutes on low setting or until clear and thick.
Remove from heat and add strawberry gelatin.
Stir until dissolved.
Pour over strawberries in crust.
Chill and top with whipped cream.
Makes 8 servings.
