Butter Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. sweet milk
    sugar
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients together.
    This will make a stiff dough.
    When it's stiff, pinch off a small amount and roll real thin.
    Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons sugar down the middle.
    On top of sugar add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Then slide 1/4 of a stick of butter on top of the sugar and vanilla.
    Fold in the dough around vanilla, sugar and butter to make a roll.
    Layer sheet cake pan with butter rolls.
    Sprinkle rolls with sugar.
    Then completely cover with sweet milk.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 to 30 minutes or until brown on top.
