Winter Chicken Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. potatoes
    1 c. Cheddar cheese
    1 (2.8 oz.) can French-fried onion rings
    1 1/2 c. cubed cooked chicken
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. ground pepper
Preparation
    Wash potatoes.
    Cook, covered, in a large saucepan in boiling water for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender.
    Drain.
    Peel and mash potatoes (should have 3 cups).
    Stir in half the cheese and half the onions.
    Spread potato mixture over bottom and up sides of a greased 2-quart rectangular baking dish or casserole to form a shell.
