Strawberry Rice Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. rice
3 c. water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
1/2 c. sugar
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation

Cook the rice in the water, salted, for 20 to 30 minutes. Drain and save water (1/2 cup).
Dissolve the jello in the reserved 1/2 cup water. Combine jello, sugar, warm rice and pineapple. When cooled, add Cool Whip. Stir and chill.
