Mushroom Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    1 large onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut steak in serving pieces.
    Brown in 2 tablespoons of oil on both sides.
    Place in casserole dish.
    Put a slice of onion on each piece.
    Spoon soup (undiluted) over meat.
    Cook in a 350\u00b0 oven, covered, for 45 minutes to 1 hour until tender.
