Whole Green Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. whole green peas (dried)
    2 qt. water
    1 Tbsp. summer savory
    3 carrots, sliced
    1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
Preparation
    Simmer peas in water until almost cooked.
    Add savory, carrots and celery.
    Simmer until vegetables are tender.
    Add onion and tomato paste and simmer a few minutes longer.
