Chicken And Noodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 lb. cut up chicken
6 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. margarine
1 medium onion, chopped fine
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. allspice or ginger
1/2 c. hot water
1 pkg. wide egg noodles (6 to 8 oz.)
paprika or parsley (for garnish)
Preparation

Coat chicken with flour.
Brown in a skillet or frypan, turning to brown evenly.
Sprinkle onion, garlic and other seasonings over top; add water.
Cover tightly and simmer until tender, 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
If water evaporates, add more water. Fifteen minutes before chicken is done, cook noodles.
Lift chicken out of pan.
Blend noodles with pan drippings; arrange around chicken.
