Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    flaked coconut
Preparation
    Melt butter
    in
    iron frying pan.
    Stir in sugar, dates and beaten
    eggs.
    Cook
    10 minutes and let cool in pan.
    Pour over Rice
    Krispies.
    Add
    nuts\tand vanilla.
    Make into small balls and roll in flaked coconut.
