Cheese Topped Green Beans And Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of white pepper
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1/4 c. light cream
    1 c. finely grated Swiss cheese
    10 oz. pkg. peas
    10 oz. pkg. green beans
Preparation
    In saucepan, melt butter. Add flour and cook several minutes. Gradually add milk. Bring just to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Add mixture to egg yolks.
    Return to saucepan. Add cream and heat gently, stirring constantly.
    Pour half the sauce into casserole dish. Add half the cheese. Add vegetables. Finish with remaining sauce and cheese.
