Bonanza Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. French's au gratin potatoes
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Place egg, milk, bread crumbs and salt in a large bowl.
    Stir well.
    Add beef and mix.
    Shape into 16 small meatballs.
    Prepare potatoes by package directions.
    Using a 2-quart casserole, stir in green peppers and about 1/2 of the meatballs.
    Arrange remaining meatballs on top.
    Bake for 35 minutes at 400\u00b0.
