Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tsp. cinnamon
5 Tbsp. sugar
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco oil
1/2 c. orange juice
Preparation

Mix together cinnamon and 5 Tbsp. of sugar.
Set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, eggs, sugar, oil and orange juice in large bowl.
Beat until smooth, mixture will be thick.
Pour half the batter in tube pan, half of the apple slices and sprinkle half the cinnamon/sugar mixture over apples.
Repeat.
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes in a 350 degree preheated oven.
