Stewed Okra, Corn And Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh okra
    4 ears fresh corn or 1(16 oz.) can whole kernel corn
    2 large tomatoes or 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 onion, minced
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. curry powder (optional)
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Remove and discard stem ends from okra.
    Cut each pod into 4 slices.
    Cut kernels from ears of corn.
    Peel and slice tomatoes. In a heavy skillet, saute onion in oil.
    Remove from skillet. Saute okra until browned.
    Add tomatoes, onion, green pepper, all seasonings and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
    Add corn and simmer until tender.
    Serves 6.
