Poor Man'S Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) cans oysters
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. water
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. onion
    saltines
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add oysters, milk and water.
    Bring to a slight boil.
    Add saltines (for desired consistency) and salt and pepper to taste.
    (For thinner stew, you may add more milk or water.)
