Homemade Cake Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. all-purpose flour
    6 c. sugar
    1/4 c. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. vegetable shortening
Preparation
    In large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well.
    With a pastry cutter, cut in shortening until resembles very coarse crumbs.
    Put in a large airtight container.
    Store in a cool dry place or in refrigerator.
    Use within 10 to 12 weeks.
