Creamy Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

2 c. broccoli, chopped
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
1 Tbsp. instant chopped onions
1/4 tsp. Durkee ground thyme
1/4 tsp. Durkee ground nutmeg
2 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
Preparation

In large saucepan simmer broccoli with chicken broth, chopped onion, thyme and nutmeg until tender, about 6 minutes.
Carefully pour into food processor or blender container and blend until smooth.
In clean large saucepan melt butter; stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Stir in milk and cook until thickened, stirring frequently.
Stir in broccoli mixture.
Heat thoroughly.
