"No Fail" Pie Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    2 or 3 large egg whites
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, sugar and water in little saucepan and bring to boil and let boil until clear (1 minute or so).
    Beat egg whites until real stiff.
    Fold hot mixture into stiff egg whites.
    Put on pie, sealing edges to crust and bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.
