German Sausage And Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 or 16 oz.) pkg. knockwurst
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 large red pepper, seeded and cut in inches or squares
    1 small onion, sliced thin
    2 (1 lb. size) cans black-eyed peas or pork and beans
    2 (6 oz.) cans spicy tomato juice
Preparation
    Slice each knockwurst into 3 diagonal pieces; heat oil in a large skillet.
    Saute knockwurst, pepper squares and onions until tender, about 5 minutes.
    Add peas and tomato juice.
    Stir to combine; simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
