Fresh Apple Cake With Caramel Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. cooking oil
    2 well-beaten eggs
    3 fresh, peeled, chopped apples
    3 c. plain flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 c. chopped pecans
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs, lemon juice and salt in a large bowl.
    Beat well.
    Mix soda and flour together; add to mixture.
    Beat well.
    Add apples and pecans.
    Stir.
    Mixture will be very thick.
    Spoon into a greased and floured Bundt or tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Allow cake to cool completely before removing from pan (about 1 hour).
