Ingredients

3 c. sliced strawberries
1-1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 carton Cool Whip
1 drop yellow food coloring
3 drops red food coloring
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 baked pie crust
Preparation

Combine 1/2 cup powdered sugar with strawberries. Set aside for 30 minutes. Cream together remaining powdered sugar and cream cheese; blend in vanilla and cool whip. Pour mixture into pie crust. Drain strawberries, saving juice. Add enough water to make 1/3 cup. Mix cornstarch, food colorings and juice. Cook until thick. Stir in berries. Spoon over filling. Chill. May be made in individual graham cracker shells.
