Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 bag caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. nuts (pecans)
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Prepare cake mix according to directions.
Pour 1/2 of batter into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
While baking, melt caramels with milk and butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
When cake has baked 15 minutes, pour caramel mixture over cake.
Sprinkle with 1 cup nuts and 1 cup chocolate chips.
Cover with remaining batter.
Sprinkle with remaining nuts and bake for 20 minutes longer.
Cool and serve from pan.
