Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 large can fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat together sugar and eggs.
    Add shortening and mix.
    Add flour and soda; mix.
    Drain fruit cocktail and stir in.
    Pour into baking dish and sprinkle brown sugar and nuts on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
