Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. sugar
    6 egg yolks
    6 egg whites
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 pt. buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Stir in sugar; cool slightly.
    Add egg yolks, sour cream and buttermilk.
    Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together.
    Add to mixture.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Add 1 more cup of flour and 1 more cup of milk; this takes out the richness.
    Soft when cold.
