Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped dates
    3 sticks margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. Rice Krispies
    2 c. chopped pecans
    4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, dates and margarine.
    Cook slowly until dissolved (approximately 10 minutes).
    Cool and add other ingredients; shape into balls.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
