Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 1/2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 qt. strawberries
2 Tbsp. Karo syrup (white)
1 deep dish pie crust

Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
Add water and syrup. Heat over medium heat until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and add jello; let cool.
Put sliced strawberries into crust. Pour mixture over berries.
