Harry'S Fluffy Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. Martha White self-rising meal (yellow)
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. flour
    1 egg
    3 c. chopped onion
    buttermilk as needed
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients.
    Mix in enough buttermilk to make to cornbread consistency.
    Let stand in refrigerator 4 hours before cooking.
    Deep fry in hot oil.
