Conway Twitty'S Three-Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 c. Dr. Pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 red onion, thinly sliced
    1 (16 oz.) can French-style green beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can yellow wax beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, sugar, oil, Dr. Pepper, salt and pepper in jar with tight-fitting lid.
    Shake vigorously.
    Separate onion slices into rings.
    Place onion rings, green beans, wax beans and kidney beans in salad bowl; toss well.
    Pour dressing over vegetables; toss lightly.
    Chill, tightly covered, for several hours to overnight, tossing occasionally.
    Toss well just before serving.
