Lemon Baked Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 frying chicken
garlic salt
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. fresh grated lemon peel
1/4 c. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Cut chicken into serving pieces and salt.
Sprinkle chicken with garlic.
Combine oregano, lemon peel and juice and water and pour over chicken.
Bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Turn chicken.
Continue to bake.
Baste with drippings once or twice. Bake for about 40 minutes or until fork-tender.
Pan drippings can be used over rice.
