Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box apricot Jell-O
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. ice water
    1 small container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the crushed pineapple and 1/4 cup sugar. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin, then cream cheese.
    Add ice water.
    Stir and let chill until thick.
    Fold in Cool Whip, then chill.
