Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chopped onion
    6 cloves garlic
    6 jalapeno peppers
    16 heaping c. fresh, peeled tomatoes, chopped
    18 or 20 fresh banana peppers, cut up
    9 Tbsp. vinegar
    12 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    6 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil.
    Grind or put through blender garlic, jalapenos and banana peppers (you may just chop).
    Add tomatoes and cook until desired consistency.
    Seal in glass sterilized jars.
    For more heat, add more jalapenos.
    Good with scrambled eggs.
    Makes 7 or 8 pints.
