Founders' Day Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion (more or less according to taste)
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper (more or less)
    1 egg
    1/2 c. oatmeal
    3/4 to 1 c. tomato juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except tomato juice together; add the tomato juice and mix until it holds together.
    Form into a loaf and put in pan.
    If topping is used, mix and pour over meat loaf and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
